Raf Simons 1999’ zipper waist cotton pant
Circa 1999', Raf unpacked a whole runway of sleek, uniform as well as oversized looks for his spring summer debut. The collection was the first of many featuring his new stab at oversized/lengthened silhouettes. They were bold attempts and those last few seasons in the 90's nearly got him bankrupt but thankfully we still have gems like these zipper waist attach pants to look back to.
Featuring a full metal zipper rung around the bottom of the tailored waistband, he was one of the first to re introduce this old military ref.style to the public and then later bring it back with another version the 2002 season.
Pant is made of an 100% lightweight cotton, its nearly a perfect summer slack and have a similar hand to that of a moleskin fabric. No pockets featured, in great condtion overall, likable fading achieved over the years.
