Raf Simons AW01-02’ ‘Riot! Riot! Riot! ‘ Elongated sleeve navy button up
From Raf Simons Autumn winter 2001-2002’ is a hardly seen shirt from the collection; his reputable elongated sleeve silhouette seen in prior seasons made a return to the Riot season but did not see runway.
As time would show, the season became one of his most famous; specifically for detaching from the whole slim fit, school boy sizing agenda he had worked off of in the past. He made a new name for himself in menswear introducing pronounced oversized designs, spreading the multi layering phenomenon seen in northern parts of Europe at the time, inspired by how the youth styled/prepared for the winter.
Standing as an outsider to the rest of the collection, it holds slimmer proportions but with some very long sleeves. Done in a dark navy, it’s in good condition for age and sports an almost French workwear color in the sun.
One or two small marks throughout, nothing noticeable. Repaired pinhole on left sleeve
Tagged size 48 it accommodates a medium-large
